Edward began singing at a relatively mature stage in his life (25) and trained at the acclaimed Musical Theatre course at Motherwell College, graduating with a Higher National Diploma.
 
Performing to a wide spectrum of audiences he has enjoyed entertaining not only in his first passion musical theatre, but in comedies, production cabaret, cruise ships, pantomime, theatre in education tours, with appearances also on "Carrie and David’s Pop Shop" on cbeebies.
 
Edward’s outstanding vocals and extensive range of songs are captivating and left the nation mesmerized when he appeared on our screens on Britain’s Got Talent in June 2011 as he sang his version of Leona Lewis’s Run but with nursery rhymes. Although Edward did not go on to win he has proven to be the most memorable act from last year’s show.
 
Already a successful solo artist in Scotland, his stunning vocals and infectious personality caught on and Edward is enjoying the direction his career has taken with a sell-out show at the Edinburgh Fringe, along with an array of corporate events spreading his wings around England and Ireland and shared the headline with The Chatty Man Alan Carr.
 
 Edward landed the role as Dame Doris Dimple in Puss In Boots at The Webster Theatre in Arbroath but before stepping into pantoland toured the country performing at various Christmas light switching on events.
 
Edward has also been involved with different charities and has been hands on with two very close to his heart, The Ups and Downs theatre Group and is an ambassador for Aberlour the largest solely Scottish Children’s Charity and collaborated with the Aberlour choir releasing “The Twinkle Twinkle Charity EP” which included the infamous nursery rhyme.
 
Edward is from Coatbridge, and now lives in Glasgow’s East End but still has a strong bond with his home town.
